Prayer for A Broken Heart

God, I pray to be overwhelmed in your presence right now. Extend the gifts of your presence to my soul, your love, your joy, your strength, your positivity. May those things overwhelm my soul right now. God I'm really hurt. My soul is heavy, and I'm all out of sorts, but I know that you're greater than even this devastation. Thank you for the amazing things I'm walking into this year. Thank you that the good plans that you have for my future are beginning to unfold this year. Thank you for starting the year out by cleaning out all the old, heavy, and barren to make room for bigger, but lighter and fresher things. Thank you for being close to the broken hearted. Im grateful to have a relationship with you God. I'm glad you want to be close to me and that you're so concerned with my concerns. I believe by the end of this month things are turning around for the better and by the end of the year I will be in a new place of victory. At least one of my biggest prayers request will be fulfilled this year. I'm excited for what you have coming. I know you will turn my mourning into laughter and authentic joy. That I will smile again, love again, and this time be loved in return, and I will be completely restored. In Jesus's name, Amen.
